This major UK law firm has has two excellent new opportunities for an Associate and Senior Associate to join their highly rated Trade & Export Finance group in London. The firm's national Banking team enjoy a broad and varied high-level practice advising a broad range of funders and borrowers on a variety of financing transactions. They act for all the UK clearing banks, a number of other European and investment banks, independent financiers and investment funds on all types of facilities from acquisition finance, leveraged finance and real estate finance to asset based lending, securitisation and debt capital markets. Borrower clients extend from major listed companies to smaller and emerging enterprises. Within their dedicated Trade & Export Finance practice, the particular focus is on high-end international financing transactions in these areas, spanning matters and clients across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as advising on US out-bound matters; advising on ESG-related finance matters is also a regular feature. The positions will entail working closely with their head of practice, and other lawyers in the team, on both transactions and new practice development. Applicants should ideally have experience from a recognised Banking & Finance practice within a leading national, City or international law firm. You'll also need to demonstrate strong client-facing skills, combining both commerciality and technical excellence in your approach.
