This leading offshore law firm has an excellent new opportunity for a further Associate to join their busy and thriving international Private Client & Trusts group within their Cayman Islands practice. Their team advises on a wide range of non-contentious trust and private wealth matters, including generational wealth succession, family office structuring, HNW relocation, and estate planning; they also handle contentious matters within this area, including trust disputes, construction and rectification applications, estate litigation, and semi-contentious trust matters. Their top-level client base is varied and includes professional trustees, private individuals and their families, financial institutions and charities, located both locally in Cayman and internationally. Working within a dynamic team, you'll play an integral role in continuing to build their leading practice, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and contacts, and will have excellent opportunities for career progression. Applicants should be offshore, UK or Commonwealth qualified lawyers, with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with experience of, or a strong interest in, the full spectrum of private client work; to include trust and supplemental deed drafting, will drafting, trust law analysis and advisory work, wealth structuring and family office planning, restructuring exercises, drafting of pre-litigation correspondence and preparation of court pleadings. An interest in business development would also be advantageous.
