This major UK law firm has two excellent opportunities for an Associate and Senior Associate to join their highly rated Planning group in London to work predominantly within their Energy & Infrastructure focused team. Lawyers joining this friendly and dynamic team will encounter a broad variety of work, acting for a range of high profile clients on large and nationally significant transactions. Their top-level practice covers all forms of Energy, including offshore wind, large scale solar, carbon capture plants, nuclear, energy networks and pipelines; and Infrastructure, such as water infra, airports, new roads, rail, and rapid transit systems. The team are accordingly seeking individuals who have Planning experience in this context of all or any of the Planning Act 2008, the Transport and Works Act 1992, the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, compulsory acquisition/purchase and compensation matters, EIA/HRA, inquiries/examinations and judicial review. You'll ideally have gained your experience within a large regional or national practice, have first-rate technical legal skills and, equally importantly, be commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. You'll also need to be a strong team player, with a relationship driven and effective client focused approach.
