This premier US and international law firm have an excellent new opportunity for an Associate to join their thriving IP, IT & Commercial transactions group in London. This is a closely-integrated UK, EU and US team, focusing on some of the most novel, cutting-edge and complex multinational transactions. The group frequently plays a lead role in high-value corporate and commercial deals, across a range of sectors and industries, spanning pharmaceuticals (incl. COVID-19 vaccine supply), advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, financial institution technology infrastructure in the context of M&A transactions, software development and licensing, high-end luxury goods and hospitality, consumer products, music licensing and fashion. The team also has deep expertise in the commercialisation and regulation of personal and non-personal data, both as part of standalone EU GDPR and UK DPA advisory work, in an M&A context, and working with the firm’s competition and litigation teams on cutting-edge data issues in the tech sector and in cybersecurity and incident response. The team are particularly seeking someone who has a range of experience in a variety of transaction types, combined with a flexible mindset and a willingness to adapt and expand their practice in these areas. You'll also need to be a confident drafter, have experience of co-ordinating cross-border transactions, and be confident in managing multiple short and long-term matters appropriately.
