This well respected UK and national firm has an excellent new opportunity for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to join their busy and thriving London IP team. Handling both contentious and non-contentious matters, their practice advises on the full range of IP rights, including trademarks and passing off, copyright and database right, rights in designs, patents and rights in confidential information. Their expertise extends to wider media-related issues, including false and misleading advertising, comparative advertising, trade libel and malicious falsehood, and the removal of material from third party online forums such as social media or competitor websites. All of their team members undertake both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property work. The role will entail advising clients across a variety of sectors on a diverse range work, which may include IP queries from a diverse spectrum of clients and other specialist teams; assisting in transactional matters, providing specialist input on IP issues; assisting in a broad range of high-level contentious matters; advising on the strengthening and protection of IP portfolios; and initiating, building and maintaining effective client relationships.
