This major US and international law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an experienced UK Financial Regulatory lawyer to join their highly rated London practice in this area in a PSL capacity. The role will involve working as the number 2 to the team's very highly rated senior PSL, and will offer a broad range of top-level work in this area, including with regard to precedent development and document/process automation. The team's PSL function is fully integrated with the fee earners, offering close work with leading lawyers in the field, as well as liaison with lawyers in overseas offices and other PSLs at the firm. Their highly rated London practice focusses especially on advising banking and asset management clients on UK, as well as cross-border and international, regulatory issues, often working closely with overseas colleagues; assisting and advising UK FS regulators is also a key facet of the practice, as are areas such as investment funds, fixed-income investments and derivatives. The team are therefore especially seeking FSR experience of these sectors, which might equally have been gained in a major law firm or in-house in the London market. There is great flexibility as to how the role may be structured, including full- or part-time and/or flexible working, with WHO for roughly half of the time being fully feasible.
