This top tier Channel Islands law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an experienced and senior-level lawyer to join their busy and thriving Employment law practice on either Jersey or Guernsey. The role will entail handling, with significant autonomy, a variety of high-end matters across the full spectrum of advisory, contentious and non-contentious Employment law practice, and with a particular emphasis on matters concerning the highly lucrative offshore financial services industry. Matters are therefore highly varied and can typically include representing major employers, or senior figures including directors, in contentious and semi-contentious exits and other disputes, advising employers before tribunals, dealing with contractual issues, handling of redundancies, and advising on employment aspects of corporate restructurings and M&A deals, as well as a variety of "day-to-day" general employment matters. The position will also carry a significant BD element, with the opportunity to draw on the firm's extensive network and resources to help further grow and develop the practice and move your career forward. Applicants will need to be Channel Islands or UK qualified lawyers with high-level relevant experience and strong academic credentials.
