This top US firm's thriving London Real Estate team has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious mid-level Associate to join them. Applicants will need to have excellent academics and ideally be working at a top law firm (UK or US), and preferably for heavyweight opportunity fund/REPE/institutional clients. Significant experience in (i) RE joint ventures – partnerships, companies, trusts, etc. (ii) acquisition/sale of RE SPVs and (iii) RE loan portfolio sale agreements will be needed, as well as some reasonable knowledge of RE finance. Experience in dealing with US clients and of leading local counsel in offshore jurisdictions (mainly Europe, Lux, CI, Cayman, etc.) would be a plus, as would an interest and some experience in working on both UK and European deals (other languages are helpful, but not a must).
