This premier US and international law firm have an excellent new opportunity for a further Associate to join their busy and thriving UK Corporate Insurance team in London. Their leading practice represents insurance and reinsurance companies and their financial advisors and underwriters in a wide variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reinsurances, portfolio transfers, public and private financings, regulatory advisory work, restructurings and reorganisations. The team has a particularly strong financial sponsor practice in the insurance space, although represents all parties – purchasers, sellers, target companies, cedants, reinsurers and their boards of directors/management, as well as investment banking firms, financial advisors and financial sponsors. The group also provide a broad range of regulatory advice to insurance and reinsurance companies, including regarding authorisations, regulatory capital issues, securities issuances, investments, solvency, permissible activities and insurance products. This top-level associate role will accordingly cover both transactional and advisory matters for a wide variety of insurance market participants, reflecting the strength and diversity of this top-level insurance practice. The team are particularly seeking someone with high-level post qualification experience in the London market, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with enthusiasm, drive and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
