Salary from £75,000 - £100,000 per annum (pro rated) + Benefits (20% Tax)
The Knowledge team of this leading offshore law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join them on either Jersey or Guernsey, and to work with their fee-earners across these offices, as well as the BVI and Cayman. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing KM team, reviewing and building precedents, researching, keeping fee-earners up to date on developments, new legislation and laws, and helping to developing know-how systems which will be integral to the business. This stimulating role is ideal for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Advocate interested in building a career within the Knowledge field. Applicants will need to have at least five years' post qualification experience in Corporate and/or Banking law (ideally including some gained within the Jersey or Guernsey markets), be commercial with a clear drafting style and excellent communication skills, and have first-rate technical legal knowledge. You'll also need to be technologically savvy with an interest in the impact of developing technology on legal services.
