This major offshore and international law firm have an excellent opportunity for a mid- to senor-level Corporate Associate to join their thriving and fast-developing Fintech & Digital Assets practice in the Cayman Islands. The firm's stellar client base includes global financial institutions, investment funds, private equity houses, multi-national corporations, public organisations, sovereign wealth funds, UHNW individuals, family offices, directors, trustees and private clients. With the Fintech & Digital Assets sectors evolving rapidly, their team's expertise involves an intimate understanding of the many challenges and opportunities that financial institutions, businesses, investors and start-ups face in this area. They have accordingly advised on some of the most innovative cryptocurrency funds and deals, initial coin offerings (ICOs) and other digital asset ventures, providing highly tailored advice to protect clients' positions, incl. throughout the development and testing phases, and to help anticipate and handle potential regulatory and compliance challenges. To succeed in the role, applicants will need to demonstrate high-level Corporate and Commercial experience with an emphasis on these key sectors (ideally gained with a major law firm, financial institution, or leading boutique practice); relevant FS Regulatory experience would also be welcomed.
