This major UK and international law firm have an excellent opportunity for a further Associate or Senior Associate to join their busy and thriving UK Corporate Insurance team in London. Their leading practice works almost exclusively on major deals in the insurance industry across the UK and European markets. They advise on transactions of all forms and sizes, including public and private M&A, Part VII transfers, cross-border deals and portfolio acquisitions, as well as specialist transactions such as renewal rights and reinsurance arrangements. They also advise insurance companies and their boards on high-level corporate governance matters, listed company issues and equity capital markets transactions. Their broad practice spans the key segments of the insurance industry, including life and general insurance, Lloyd’s of London, and run-off and consolidation businesses, extending also to the emerging InsurTech field and collaborations in this new and fast evolving space. The team are particularly seeking people with high-level training and experience in the London market, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with enthusiasm, drive and the ability to demonstrate initiative. A high level of academic achievement is essential. Applicants must also be keen to participate actively in the team's marketing and BD activities.
