This premier US and international law firm have an excellent new opportunity for a further mid- to senior-level Associate to join their busy and thriving Antitrust & International Competition team in London. Their highly rated EU/UK competition team advises leading financial institutions and multinationals in complex behavioural, state aid, multi-jurisdictional merger control, foreign investment/national security and litigation cases across industries globally. Their London team forms the firm’s hub for all international (ex-U.S.) antitrust and foreign investment/national security expertise, with the team leading and coordinating international antitrust and merger control investigations, across the full spectrum of transactions, including complex international restructurings, M&A, joint ventures, and big-ticket strategic and activist investments. They accordingly advise clients before the Commission, the Competition and Markets Authority (plus other EU & UK govt institutions), and the Competition Appeal Tribunal, as well as litigating before the EU and UK courts. The London team is closely supported by the firm’s competition lawyers in key business centres across the U.S., Europe, China, UAE and Asia, and also works closely where appropriate with associated international firms (incl. in Africa and LatAm).
