This leading offshore and international law firm have a superb new opportunity for an experienced Commercial Litigation lawyer to join their highly rated practice in the BVI in Senior Associate or Counsel-level position. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll be providing a full range of litigation services to major clients - both supporting the partners and taking lead responsibility as appropriate - for cases involving a variety of high-end contentious work, centered particularly on the highly lucrative offshore financial services area, and including major shareholder disputes and insolvency/liquidation, fraud/asset tracing and trust/probate litigation mandates. To succeed in this high-level role, you will need to be comfortable and confident in taking personal responsibility for the management of major matters, carrying out your own advocacy (with appropriate supervision as may be needed), and assisting in the promotion and business development of the litigation practice across all of the firm's locations (BVI, Cayman, Jersey and Guernsey). Applicants will need to be UK or BVI qualified lawyers (applications from both Barristers and Solicitors are encouraged), and should ideally have a broad range of high-end Commercial Litigation experience gained either at the UK bar or within a large international or offshore law firm.
