This major UK & European IP law firm have an excellent new opportunity for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to join their busy and thriving Commercial IT & IP practice. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a stimulating mix of Commercial work, for a variety of impressive clients, ranging from start-ups, to small and large SMEs, and major plcs and universities. The work scope will primarily center on high-level Commercial and IT agreements, as well as IP licensing arrangements, with additional involvement also in broader Commercial IP matters. You can expect to play a key role - or lead, in the case of Senior Associates - in drafting and negotiating a range of complex and high-level agreements, which may typically involve: licensing and assigning IP, collaboration agreements, R&D agreements, SaaS agreements, agile agreements, terms and conditions, supply, distribution and agency agreements. The position will involve working closely with their lead UK Commercial partner, who is based in their Leeds office, although the role could also be performed from either Bristol or London. The team are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual, who can demonstrate a range of experience and a commitment to quality, with strong communication skills and a keen desire to impress clients.
