This leading offshore law firm has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Banking, Corporate & Funds transactional lawyer to join their busy and thriving practice in the British Virgin Islands. The role will be highly varied and challenging, working at the top level of cutting edge transactions, and covering a full range of offshore financing and corporate work, spanning general banking and finance, capital markets, mutual funds, private equity, regulatory and general corporate law. The team are ideally seeking someone with an ability and willingness to market and engage in BD initiatives and maintain and build on client relationships to attract future work and client referrals. To succeed in this role, you'll also need to be comfortable handling a large caseload with minimal supervision, and work effectively as part of a larger team, with experience in managing people at all levels and in mentoring and training junior lawyers. The firm is ideally seeking a BVI or UK qualified individual, who has broad-based and high-level transactional experience, ideally gained within a major Offshore, UK or international law firm.
