A unique opportunity has arisen for a senior legal officer to join this highly regarded company in Kuwait. The major duties and responsibilities for this role include:
· Providing advice on all aspects of international petroleum law and other legal issues related to the company's operations.
· Provide general advice to Senior Management on the legal effects and practical consequences of possible or intended course of action.
· Reviewing and drafting changes to legal documents, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, memorandums etc.
· Undertaking legal research and providing advice to seniors on issues of conflicts of interests, international claims etc to avoid disputes and minimize litigation.
· Maintaining good working relationships with respective government ministries and co-ventures.
The successful candidate should have experience in upstream Exploration & Production work, preferably with an international angle, with knowledge of Production Sharing/Concession/Joint Operating Agreements. Call now for more details!
